The biggest difference between the mechanical NC feeder and the pneumatic NC feeder is the way of relaxation. The mechanical NC uses a mechanical rod to relax (requires a device to relax the rod on the punch slider), which relaxes quickly and does not crush the data.
Therefore, the pneumatic relaxation device relaxes slowly, which is simply affected by the external air source power supply and electronic accessories, so that the pneumatic feeder cannot be used for high-speed feeding, and is relatively messy in operation adjustment. When trying to re-enter the mold or replace the data, because the process needs to relax the data repeatedly, the pneumatic NC feeder needs to be controlled and relaxed on the electric control box every time it is relaxed, and the adjustment is not as simple as the mechanical one.
In the actual purchase, it is mainly selected according to the characteristics of the punch press. The pneumatic NC feeder does not need to install rated components on the punch press, so there is no equipment problem. Basically, any punch can be installed and used together. Go to the shearing machine or other equipment to do the feeding operation. However, because the pneumatic type relaxes slowly, it is not suitable for short-step high-speed feeding operations.
The mechanical NC feeder device needs to be equipped with a mechanical rod on the slider for relaxation, so it is not suitable for gantry punch and shearing machine equipment, but the mechanical response of the relaxation device is fast, which is very suitable for short-step high-speed feeding operations. Moreover, the mechanical relaxation stability and operation convenience are still better than pneumatic NC feeders.
